Nestled within the heart of Queensland, between Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast, you'll find our family of three: Shane, Megan, and our adventurous son, Kai.

Our journey began in February 2022, a time when our home was engulfed by floods. We made a life-altering decision as a family - to embark on a quest to explore the vast expanse of our beautiful country.

Our destination? Broome, Western Australia. Two months later we found ourselves on the stunning West Coast, a place where Kai discovered the wonders of nature in ways we never thought possible - fishing in places he could only dream of.

Our journey took us to Geraldton, where a kind-hearted couple recommended a caravan park they had recently stayed at. Megan picked up a week of work, and we followed their advice. Little did we know that this decision would lead to a heart-wrenching loss – all our precious fishing rods. We had felt a false sense of security, with our rods simply secured by occy straps in our rod holder. The fear had haunted us throughout our holiday, as we would see people eyeing off our rods as they walked past.

Back then, we relied on a Wilson rod holder, and it was clear that we needed a more convenient solution. A solution that would eliminate the need to stow away our cherished rods in the car every time we made a stop. And so, our quest to create the perfect fishing rod lock began.
